The P-90s are L9000s.įrom 1985, the best models were equipped with VH-1 pickups manufactured by Gotoh. The pickups are L8001 or L8002 for the best models and L8000 for the simpler models. In 1982/1983, the name Les Paul disappears in favor of the acronym RLG: RLG 50, RLG 60, RLG 90, RLG 120, RLG 150. Many of these guitars had a fret binding. The first models had Gotoh pickups of the PAF type for the cheaper guitars while the more prestigious models were equipped with Seymour Duncan 59. These models range from the FLG-60 to the FLG-240. They are marked with the letters FLG followed by a number which indicates the price in yen of the time and thus the quality of the model. They appeared on the market in 1973, at the same time as the copies of Firebird, in the first catalog of Fernandes. Les Paul Burny’s first copies have the Les Paul logo written on the guitar’s head.
